業務内容

1. Job Purpose

Due to business growth and the expansion of our warehouse, we are seeking a

Warehouse Supervisor who can properly manage the receipt, storage, issuance,

inventory, and movement of raw materials, components, packaging materials, and

finished goods.

This position is expected not only to control daily warehouse transactions but also to

improve warehouse layout, material flow, inventory segregation, identification, space

utilization, work efficiency, and safety.


2. Key Responsibilities

2.1 Inbound and Outbound Material Control

Manage the receipt and issuance of raw materials, purchased components, and

packaging materials.

Control packaging materials such as stickers, labels, retail boxes, and outer

cartons.

Issue materials, components, and packaging materials according to production

and assembly requirements.

Verify item names, part numbers, quantities, lot numbers, and material

conditions during receiving and issuance.

Maintain accurate receiving, issuance, and inventory records.

Reconcile physical inventory with warehouse documents and system records.

Prevent the issuance of incorrect parts, quantities, or lots.


2.2 Inventory Control and Stocktaking

Manage inventory of raw materials, components, packaging materials, and

finished goods.

Plan and conduct periodic physical inventory and cycle counts.

Investigate discrepancies between physical inventory and recorded inventory.

Implement corrective actions and preventive measures for inventory

discrepancies.

Control excess inventory, slow-moving inventory, long-stored items, and

inventory shortages.

Monitor minimum stock levels, safety stock, and reorder points.

Report potential shortages to the relevant departments in a timely manner.


2.3 Storage Location, Segregation, and Identification Control

Establish and maintain appropriate storage locations for materials, parts,

packaging materials, and finished goods.

Segregate inventory by item, part number, customer, lot, usage, and material

status.

Clearly separate accepted materials, non-conforming materials, items on hold,

returned goods, and items awaiting inspection.

Maintain rack numbers, location codes, identification labels, and material tags.

Prevent mix-ups between similar-looking items and similar part numbers.

Maintain FIFO or other required lot-sequence controls.

Ensure full lot traceability.

Establish clear rules for temporary storage and staging areas.


2.4 Warehouse Layout and Material Flow Improvement

Improve the flow of materials from receiving, storage, and issuance to

production and assembly lines.

Improve the flow of finished goods from the assembly line to the shipping area.

Optimize storage locations based on usage frequency, weight, size, and work

sequence.

Reduce unnecessary movement of materials, components, packaging

materials, and employees.

Establish safe routes for forklifts, carts, and warehouse personnel.

Improve warehouse space utilization and storage efficiency.

Clearly define receiving, storage, issuance, holding, non-conforming, and

shipping areas.

Develop rack layouts, zoning, and storage rules for the expanded warehouse.

Improve warehouse layout with consideration for efficiency, safety, and ease of

inventory checking.






2.5 Material Supply to Production and Assembly Lines

Control the supply of materials, components, and packaging materials to

production and assembly lines.

Ensure that the correct items, quantities, and lots are issued to the correct

location.

Monitor material availability and supply status to prevent production or

assembly line stoppages.

Coordinate with Production, Assembly, Purchasing, and Quality departments.

Verify quantities and process the return of unused, excess, or returned

materials from production and assembly lines.


2.6 Finished Goods and Shipping Area Control

Verify the part numbers and quantities of finished goods transferred from the

assembly line to the shipping area.

Manage the identification, segregation, and storage of finished goods in the

shipping area.

Segregate finished goods by customer, part number, destination, and shipping

lot.

Supervise final palletizing activities.

Verify pallet quantities, stacking methods, identification labels, and packaging

conditions.

Supervise and verify container loading activities.

Prevent incorrect shipments, missing items, quantity errors, and product mix-

ups.

Maintain shipping, pallet, and container-loading records.


2.7 Process Improvement and Standardization

Identify warehouse problems, inefficiencies, and waste.

Improve receiving, storage, issuance, stocktaking, and shipping processes.

Develop and update warehouse rules, standard operating procedures, and

checklists.

Promote and maintain 5S activities.

Establish fixed locations, fixed items, and fixed quantities.

Monitor warehouse KPIs, including:

o Inventory accuracy

o Inventory discrepancy rate

o Incorrect issuance rate

o Material handling time

o Space utilization


o Stocktaking accuracy

Improve warehouse control through the use of barcodes, Excel, ERP, or WMS

systems.

Train warehouse employees and ensure that warehouse rules are consistently

followed.

2.8 Safety Management

Establish and enforce warehouse safety rules.

Separate forklift, cart, and pedestrian routes.

Prevent load collapse, falling materials, trips, collisions, and rack overloading.

Ensure safe handling and storage of heavy and high-level items.

Keep aisles, emergency exits, firefighting equipment, and evacuation routes

clear.

Identify and improve unsafe warehouse conditions.

応募資格・条件

Qualifications

■Must

Experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory control operations.

Experience in receiving and issuing raw materials, parts, or packaging

materials.

Experience in physical inventory and inventory discrepancy control.

Ability to manage inventory data using Excel or similar systems.

Experience in leading, instructing, or training warehouse employees.

Strong attention to detail when controlling part numbers, quantities, and lot

numbers.


■Want

Warehouse management experience in a manufacturing company.

Experience in an automotive parts, rubber product, plastic product, or assembly

factory.

Experience using ERP or WMS systems.

Experience improving warehouse layouts and material flow.

Experience with 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement activities.

Forklift license or experience supervising forklift operations.

Experience with inventory identification and traceability control under ISO 9001.

Basic communication skills in Japanese or English.
